This place is aesthetically pleasing! After a long day in the classroom, I enjoyed rounds of karaoke bingo, and tangy Korean sliders that made my soul very happy. The potatoes were my favorite because they were sliced in ovals and arrived with a delicious aioli mayo dip that I tried to replicate at home, but could not, so I must visit this place again!
We had a great time here to best the heat! We took our 2 year old bowling for the first time and grabbed some appetizers. We enjoyed the pretzel nuggets, the crab cakes and our son had a hamburger with potato wedges. Everything was really high quality and tasted amazing. The bowling alley wasn't a long wait since it was early afternoon. We also enjoyed the dueling piano guys and the songs they sang while we ate. Will def be coming back here for another date or family night soon.
It was our first time and me and my husband had a wonderful time. We made a reservation for a virtual booth, but showed up early and got a table. We ordered the triple dip. The queso and spinach dip were delicious. It was happy hour so they had deals on the shareables and sliders. We got the Nashville hot chicken sliders and the bacon jam sliders. Both were so good! Chef Justin came out and asked how our food was and then offered us a dessert on the house. We chose the lemon lime tart and oh my goodness this was amazing! He also mentioned that all desserts are made in house daily! Our server Sami was very attentive and kind and followed us to the virtual booth so we kept the tab open. She was on it with refills and checking in for anything! Everything was fun, delicious and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and the vibe was really nice. The only minor complaint was our virtual game froze up a couple of times but once we exited and got back in it was fine. We will definitely be back!
Our recent dining experience at Spare Birdie was nothing short of extraordinary, and much of the credit goes to Chef Justin. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, Chef Justin was hands-on, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. His presence on the front line, greeting guests, and overseeing each plate that left the kitchen, shows that he is not just a chef but a true leader who is deeply invested in his craft. The food itself was impeccable, with top-tier presentation that was as visually stunning as it was delicious. Each bite revealed the thoughtfulness and care that Chef Justin puts into his creations. This is what being a chef is all about--ensuring that the experience doesn't end when the food leaves the kitchen but extends to seeing and knowing that people are thoroughly enjoying it. It's clear that Chef Justin finds great reward in this, and it made our experience all the more special. The staff at Spare Birdie were equally impressive--kind, helpful, and attentive. The establishment was clean, welcoming, and provided a truly enjoyable atmosphere. We will undoubtedly be back to savor more of this exceptional hospitality and top-tier cuisine. Thank you, Chef Justin, and the entire team at Spare Birdie, for an unforgettable dining experience. -- The Coombs Family
First time here, great service and beautiful atmosphere. Feels great inside and definitely a fun place for a date night or out with mature friends.
We really enjoyed this place. Unfortunately, we don't come here very often. Life is constantly busy and sometimes it's hard to fit in cool places like this. First, the vibe is great and pretty much all the staff were very friendly. It's nice to see this consistency. We did the bowling, which was a blast. It is not standard length bowling which makes it great for younger kids and random bowling time. Also, it is not those stupid string attached to bowling pins that you see in many places which are super problematic. This functions like a normal bowling alley, just a bit shorter. Such a great experience here. We did order some food and all of it was great. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and food is good. Lots of difference activities to choose. Or if you are not in the mood, it has a great indoor and outdoor vibe. Highly recommend.
We went for lunch there. Big, clean and pretty cool place. Plenty of different game options to try. Our server was attentive but manager was very very attentive. I am taking off 1 star because food was okey. We ordered burger, taquitos, nachos, chicken sandwich, lemon cake. The quantity of the food was good. I found fries yum but rest of the food could have some more flavor. So over all food 5/5, place -5/5, staff -5/5. I definitely recommend.
Food 4 stars Ambiance/vibes 5 stars Service 5+ stars I'm hardly writing any reviews these days, but felt SBPH definitely deserves more than 3stars so here it goes. When I heard about the new place CP area, got excited and checked the reviews and was not fond of it, but still wanted to try as it's close to home, so me n a friend decided to stop by for HH. My friend made the reservation, but I think you should be fine without reservations either, as the place is huge. As soon I stepped in, I felt like Woww, place is huge, spacious, cozy, good vibes, loved the ambiance and the way it has been setup, there's a bowling and other stuff and that place has that sports bar vibe, and where me n my friend got seated, it was like a cozy nice place to sit and relax. Our server name is I think Ben, who was attentive, welcoming and friendly. We ordered Bruschetta, corn fritters, crispy cauliflower, fries, lemon cake. Drinks, Gold rush, and Tom Colin's. My friend got Tom Colin's and she liked it, I initially got Californian based on our server recommendation, but all I tasted was bitter orange juice, couldn't drink it after 2 sips, and I let my server know about it, and he replaced that with gold rush without hesitation, and I loved Gold rush, it was well balanced drink. Bruschetta was disappointing, goat cheese tasted funky, so took that off, and all I tasted was crushed raw tomatoes on bread, no flavor at all, I'd skip that. Corn fritter: if you don't know it's name, you won't know it's corn, I think they had crushed corn and added some spices to it, overall you don't taste corn at all, and it was made more like falafel, my friend liked it, but me just okay. Crispy cauliflower, this I loved it, it's crisp but not greasy, it's not heavy, it has nice spicy kick to it, and it made up for bruschetta and I can eat two plates of it, for my friend it was bit spicy though. Fries: we both loved it, it was just perfect. Lemon cake: I'd skip it, cake was dense and crumbly, and dint taste as freshly made either, they say raspberry sauce, but the sauce is so little you don't taste it, it needs more raspberry sauce to balance all the tangyness, they really should work on this. We felt it was pricey but quality of the food, ambience of the place, and you don't have to drive to domain or to downtown for a cool place to hangout make it worth the price, and we have plans to visit them for brunch. Overall definitely recommend SBPH!!
